General Plan Advisory Committee

The City Council appointed a General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) comprised of residents and stakeholders to represent the community at large. The GPAC will work with City staff, the City’s consultant, and the public throughout the General Plan Update process and will make recommendations to the Planning Commission and City Council. The major topic areas that will be discussed include land use planning, mobility options, economic development, public safety and community services, and sustainability.

All GPAC meetings are typically held at Lomita City Hall located at 24300 Narbonne Avenue on the second Tuesday of the month (except for the month of July 2023, which will be held on Thursday July 13). Agendas for all meetings along with relevant discussion information will be posted here at least five days prior to all scheduled meetings.
